About the Position Would you like to work in the manufacturing industry as an edge press operator in a modern production facility? We are now seeking a careful and responsible team member with experience in edge pressing/edge bending for one of our clients in Valdemarsvik. What the Role Involves As an Edge Press Operator, you will work with bending sheet metal in an edge press according to drawings and technical specifications. You are responsible for setting up, programming, and operating the machine, as well as ensuring that the parts meet the correct quality standards. The work also includes some quality control measurements and post-processing. You will work closely with other departments in production. There may be tasks in other manufacturing departments as needed, such as laser cutting, assembly, and forklift operation. Qualifications We are looking for someone who * Has education at least at the high school level in Industrial Technology with a focus on CNC technology. * Has experience working as an edge press operator/edge bender or has worked with automated machinery in the manufacturing industry, such as a CNC operator. * Can read and understand technical drawings and can make adjustments in control systems. * Is careful, responsible, and quality-conscious * Has good collaboration skills * Has general workshop technical knowledge and background. * Has a valid driver's license (B category) and access to a car, unless residing within Valdemarsvik municipality. Meritorious * Measurement technology and quality control * Forklift certification As a person, it is important that you have an interest in and enjoy working in the manufacturing industry. You are comfortable with and willing to learn new tasks, are social, and have excellent teamwork skills. You should be open and flexible as a person, as your work schedule varies and requires a practical approach to meet operational needs. Furthermore, it is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language and can communicate fluently in speech and writing. Employment * Working hours: 2 shifts * Start: Immediately The assignment is planned to continue indefinitely with the intention to transition to a permanent position with the client company.
