Edge Press Operator for Manufacturing Industry in Malmö
TopWork is now seeking an edge press operator for an well-established manufacturing company in Malmö. We are looking for someone with experience in sheet metal processing who enjoys practical work where quality and precision are the focus.
About the Position
As an edge press operator, you will work with processing and forming sheet metal according to drawings and production specifications. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating edge presses as well as ensuring that finished parts meet the correct quality standards.
The work involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues in production.
The position is planned to start after summer vacation, with a preliminary start date from week 32 onwards.
Job Duties
Set up and operate edge presses
Process and form sheet metal parts according to drawings
Perform quality controls and measurements
Read and interpret technical drawings
Perform basic programming and adjustments of machines
Ensure order and quality in daily work
We Are Looking for Someone Who
Has experience with edge pressing or other sheet metal processing
Can read and understand drawings
Has good workshop experience and technical understanding
Is thorough, quality-conscious, and responsible
Speaks and writes Swedish fluently
Merits
Experience programming and setting up edge presses
Experience with Amada machines
Forklift certification
Overhead crane certification
Experience from manufacturing industry
