About Us
Närhälsan operates primary care centers and rehabilitation clinics in competition with other providers in the Västra Götaland region. We currently operate 105 primary care centers and 60 rehabilitation clinics, with representation in all municipalities in the region.
The Office Division oversees case management and case preparation for the political level, board administration, legal matters, records and document management, information security, security and preparedness issues, as well as administrative services. The division is a central part of Närhälsan's governance and contributes to ensuring that operations are conducted with legal certainty, efficiency, and security.
Following a retirement, we are now seeking you to take on the role of Office Manager and, together with your team, further develop the division in a socially important organization in constant change.
About the Role
As Office Manager, you have overall responsibility for the Office Division's mission and development. You lead and develop the division's staff and are responsible for personnel, budget, and operational matters. The role involves ensuring effective, modern, and legally sound processes in case preparation, document and information management, legal affairs, and security and preparedness work.
The Office Division is Närhälsan's centralized expertise function for security matters, crisis preparedness, coordination of decision-making processes, and quality assurance of documents for the political level. You create conditions for management to make well-founded decisions and serve as a strategic support in complex and operationally critical matters.
The role entails a strategic overall responsibility for security, preparedness, and information security work within Närhälsan. In this role, you represent Närhälsan in regional coordination and functional groups and ensure that security and preparedness work is integrated into the organization's governance and leadership.
You report directly to the Primary Care Director, are part of the management group, serve in the region's functional group for office managers, and in the region's functional group for security and civil preparedness. The role involves extensive contact with the region's decision-makers and other internal and external partners. The position also includes responsibility for the archive function and operation of Närhälsan's local office.
About You
We seek someone with relevant higher education and several years of experience in qualified work in the public sector, preferably in a leadership role. You have strong knowledge of public law, such as administrative law, municipal law, and meeting procedures, as well as documented experience working closely with political leadership or in a politically governed organization, and a strong understanding of political decision-making processes.
Experience with security, preparedness, and information security work, quality assurance, and development of administrative processes is a plus, as is experience representing an organization in strategic cooperation forums.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and are confident in handling complex matters where accuracy, judgment, and prioritization are crucial. You have an interest in document management, information handling, and digital working methods.
As a leader, you are unpretentious, clear, and trustworthy, with the ability to create engagement and participation. You have a holistic perspective, enjoy collaborating across organizational boundaries, and develop both operations and staff based on their different circumstances. Selection is ongoing during the application period, and we plan interviews at the Region's House in Gothenburg on 9/9 and 10/9.
Chief recruitment within Närhälsan follows the chief recruitment process in Västra Götaland region and is based on our four chief criteria. As part of the selection process, an in-depth interview and assessment will also take place with the Center for Chief Recruitment in Gothenburg on 22/9, where you are expected to be available.
