As a Key Account Manager at Pingday, you'll have a central role in driving and developing business with our most important customers – at the intersection of technology, business, and societal value. Here you'll have the opportunity to truly influence how Pingday works with key accounts, sales processes, and business development. You'll work closely with both customers and internal specialists in an organization with short decision-making paths, high expertise, and strong commitment. Your Day-to-Day As a Key Account Manager, you're responsible for developing Pingday's fiber connection business and creating long-term partnerships with operators, municipal networks, and other key customers. You combine technical understanding of fiber solutions with proactive and business-oriented customer work. You drive business from needs and solution dialogues through quotations, negotiations, and agreements. An important part of the role is also developing and packaging Pingday's offerings within dark fiber, capacity connections, wavelength services, and operator hotels. The role is located within Sales and Marketing, and you work closely with colleagues in fiber networks, engineering, and other specialist functions to develop the right solution and ensure a smooth transition from deal to delivery. Your main responsibilities are to: develop existing customers and actively pursue new business opportunities drive customer dialogues, quote work, negotiations, and business closures develop customized fiber and connection solutions together with internal specialists develop offerings, pricing, and pricing models follow up on sales, budgets, and business results contribute to efficient and standardized business and delivery processes About You We're looking for someone with several years of experience from the fiber, municipal network, operator, or telecommunications industry and who has worked with technical and consultative B2B sales, account management, or business development. What matters is your documented industry experience and ability to combine technology with business; post-secondary education is a merit but not required. You have a good understanding of how fiber networks are structured and how different types of connections are delivered. You're familiar with solutions such as dark fiber, capacity connections, wavelength services, and operator hotels and have sufficient technical understanding to independently conduct qualified discussions with both customers, operators, and technical specialists. Of course, you're genuinely interested in the fiber industry's challenges and curious about how, for example, AI and new technology can open up new opportunities where others see obstacles. As a person, you're business-driven, relationship-building, and consultative. You enjoy understanding customer needs, finding the right solution, and moving business forward. At the same time, you work in a structured manner and collaborate easily with customers, colleagues, and external partners. You communicate well in Swedish and English and have a driver's license. Experience with Lime, Cesar2, or dpCom is a merit. As an employee at Pingday, you may be subject to civil contingency placement based on total defense needs.
