About Us Primary care in Region Blekinge includes health centers, youth clinics, and wound care centers. Residents of Blekinge who become ill turn directly to health centers and receive access to healthcare that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities in the region, in several smaller communities, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care facility where teamwork and patient needs are at the center. Kallinge Health Center is part of Hälsoval and here we have just over 45 employees in various professions working together to meet our approximately 8,000 registered patients. There is also a branch in Bräkne-Hoby with approximately 3,000 registered patients. We have specialist nurse clinics in diabetes, asthma/COPD, senior care, and child health care. The health center operates according to the RAK (right use of competence) concept where we strive for each employee to work at the top of their competence. About the Job If you are passionate about primary care, you are warmly welcome to us for a temporary position! Since one of our regular nursing assistants is away for studies, we are now seeking a nursing assistant for a six-month temporary position with the possibility of extension. The work with us is varied, with varying pace. Typical work tasks as a nursing assistant with us include blood draws, EKG, assisting physicians with minor procedures, rectoscopies, urinary catheterization, and assisting with various examinations, maintaining general order and tidiness, and ensuring hygiene protocols. About You You are a trained nursing assistant with experience in laboratory work such as blood draws and analyses. You are confident and experienced in your professional role, and you work methodically and with quality assurance while maintaining order and tidiness. You contribute to our good work environment by being positive, solution-focused, and cooperative with all professions. The pace in the laboratory is sometimes high with many blood draws, which is why it is important that you enjoy a fast pace and can work independently, efficiently, and carefully. We are very keen to find a colleague who complements our team, so we will place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment. Region Blekinge assigns all permanent staff positions.
