About the Role As an estimate specialist, you will primarily work with collaboration projects within Svenska kraftnät's reconstruction and new construction of power lines. In collaboration contracts, the contractor works together with Svenska kraftnät during the project's planning and design phase to develop a target price for the construction phase. In this role, you are responsible for continuously reviewing and assessing the reasonableness of estimates and providing support to the project organization throughout all project phases. Your work is an important part of ensuring well-founded decisions and efficient financial management of projects. You will also contribute to the development of Svenska kraftnät's working methods within collaboration contracts by developing and further developing processes, methodology, and lesson-learning within estimate work. The role also includes responsibility for collecting, analyzing, and monitoring key performance indicators and outcomes to strengthen the organization's knowledge and continuous improvement. In this role, you will, among other things: Participate in the development and review of estimates, including reasonableness assessments, target prices, pricing of technical solutions, and change order work Contribute qualified assessments that impact project quality, economy, and progress Collaborate with internal and external specialists in areas such as procurement, land, steel, and concrete to ensure well-founded estimates Promote lesson-learning and knowledge sharing within and between collaboration projects Responsible for or support the monitoring of budget, cost outcomes, and related documentation in the contractor's system Collect, compile, and analyze key performance indicators and experiences from completed and ongoing collaboration contracts Contribute to developing methods and working approaches for estimate work within Svenska kraftnät. The role offers the opportunity to assume expanded responsibility within the estimate field and contribute to the development of the estimate specialist team. As this function is under development, you will have the opportunity to influence both working methods and the role's content. You may also represent the organization in internal and external forums. As an estimate specialist, you will be part of one of the specialist support units within the Infrastructure Investments department. The department supports Svenska kraftnät's programs and projects with specialist expertise in areas such as contract management, estimates, AMA, insurance, and financial management. About You Requirements: Personal qualities: We are looking for someone who is structured, collaborative, analytical, and results-oriented. The role involves working with complex estimates and financial assessments in close collaboration with project organizations, contractors, and other specialists. Therefore, you need to be able to plan and organize your work well, build strong collaborations, analyze and draw conclusions from extensive information, and drive matters forward to contribute to well-founded decisions and good project outcomes. Education: You have an academic degree in, for example, economics, technology, engineering, or law, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät deems equivalent. You also have: Documented experience and training in contract law including ABT06 and AB04. At least 7 years of work experience, within the past 10 years, with estimate work on construction projects involving land, concrete, and steel work with experience using estimate tools such as MAP, Bidcon, or similar. At least 4 years of production experience in a comprehensive role on the client or contractor side, such as site manager, project manager, project/contract engineer, or other equivalent position with corresponding responsibility and complexity. Experience with budget work for at least two projects in the construction industry. Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English. Meritorious At least 2 years of work experience in a leadership position. Work experience with estimate work for collaboration contracts (two-phase contracts) with a scope of ≥ 200 million kronor in at least one project in the past 5 years. Work experience with AMA Anläggning and MER Anläggning in at least one project in the past 5 years. Work experience with estimate work for at least 2 years on undergrounding contracts ≥ 220 kV.
