For this role, there is an opportunity to help shape how work should be conducted going forward, in an environment where responsibility and initiative are encouraged. Job Responsibilities As an estimator, you will work on preparing bids for projects within power lines and will be an important part in increasing Omexom's growth opportunities. The role is broad and combines estimating work with parts of project planning. You are responsible for analyzing request documents, calculating projects and preparing complete bids. After winning contracts, you will also be involved in moving projects forward, for example through dialogue with subcontractors and support during the contract phase. You work closely with business operations and have a central role in building the unit's capacity to handle estimation work. The work involves contact points both internally and externally, where you collaborate with project management, account managers and to some extent international colleagues. Projects are largely procured through public procurement processes and often run for 1–3 years. Examples of Work Tasks Analyze and interpret request documents Prepare estimates and bids for power line projects Collect and evaluate prices from subcontractors Participate in negotiations and support contract writing Contribute to developing the unit and working methods for the estimation and bidding process Education, Experience and Personal Qualities Requirements: Experience with estimation work in line construction, contracting or infrastructure projects Experience from the energy sector or related project activities Good understanding of projects, planning and production setup Good knowledge of Swedish and English Merits: Experience with power lines or high-voltage projects Background as for example installer, site manager or similar role Technical education in electrical engineering or equivalent You thrive in an environment under development, where working methods and structure evolve over time. You take responsibility for your work, drive tasks forward and are comfortable finding solutions even when conditions are not fully defined. You work in a structured and careful manner, especially in estimation work where details are important. At the same time, you have good business acumen and can make relevant prioritizations in your work. You work closely with others and have an easy way of building trust in your contacts, both internally and externally. Your communication is clear and you have the ability to set requirements when needed.
