About the position As a calculation manager at Dalahus Group, you will have a key role in our operations. You are involved early in the process and are responsible for analyzing inquiries, preparing calculations, and creating competitive and well-thought-out offers. In our operations, business, projects, and assembly are closely linked. This means that you don't just calculate deals, you also ensure that they are realistic to implement. You therefore work closely with both project management and assembly organization, where the goal is always to deliver projects with the right quality, on time, and at the right cost. You become a natural link between customer, production, and execution, and an important part of Dalahus Group continuing to grow in a sustainable and profitable way. Responsibilities In this role, you will work broadly within business and calculation, where your tasks include: Preparing calculations and quotations for our projects Analyzing inquiries and creating the right business structure Working with pricing, quantities, and calculation assumptions Conducting risk and profitability assessments in early stages Participating in dialogue with customers and supporting technical and economic matters Contributing to tendering strategy together with the project organization Ensuring smooth handover from calculation to project Following up on project results and contributing to continuous improvements An important part of the role is also having an understanding of assembly and production, where our projects are carried forward at work sites by our teams, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficient progress. Your profile We are looking for someone with experience from the construction industry and who has worked with calculations, projects, or similar roles where business and execution are closely linked. You have a good understanding of the entire building process and feel comfortable working with both numbers and people. Perhaps you have a background as a project manager, contract engineer, or calculator and want to take greater responsibility in business matters. It is meritorious if you have experience with timber construction or prefabricated building systems, which is a central part of our operations. We believe that you are a structured and analytical person with strong business drive. You have the ability to see the bigger picture, while being thorough in details and calculations. You thrive in a role where you collaborate with multiple functions and have an easy time building trust, both internally and externally. Dalahus Group is a company engaged in industrial timber construction. Our timber factory is located in Linghed, approximately 35 km northeast of Falun. Production of prefabricated timber components began in Linghed in 1938. Today we have 55 employees and a turnover of 120 million SEK and are one of Sweden's leading suppliers of prefabricated timber products. The ownership structure has varied over the years; today the company is owned 100% by ByggPartner Group AB. In the factory we produce a flexible range where common products are walls, floor systems, roof elements, roof trusses, and more. Production also includes processing and further refinement of solid timber products such as Ribb elements, block-laminated laminated timber, laminated timber, CLT, and LVL.
