In this role, you will have a broad and varied position where you are involved in several parts of the project's different phases. You work closely with both project management and production and gain an important role in monitoring the project's finances, planning, and progress. The role involves substantial personal responsibility and provides good insight into the entire project process from planning to execution. About the Position As a construction engineer, you work closely with project managers and site management on one or more construction projects. You have a central role in project management and are responsible for supporting the project team in finance, planning, procurement, and follow-up. You are part of a project team together with project managers, site managers, foremen, and other construction engineers and work closely with production throughout the project. In the role, you will, among other things: • Work with project finances through budgets, forecasts, and financial follow-up • Participate in procurement, purchasing, and ordering of subcontractors and materials • Handle contracts, invoices, and change order work in dialogue with project managers and subcontractors • Participate in construction meetings and support project managers and site management in project planning and execution • Establish and follow up on production schedules and support production with administrative matters • Work with environmental and sustainability matters, for example Building Material Assessment The role also includes work in the project management system Next and contributing to the development of the company's approach in upcoming projects. We Are Looking For You If You • Have several years of experience as a construction engineer or similar role, and are confident in independently managing estimates, procurement, and financial follow-up in construction projects • Have vocational/technical education or higher education in construction or equivalent work experience • Have good understanding of construction law, especially standard contracts such as AB 04 and ABT 06 • Have experience with estimation and project management systems, preferably Next or similar • Have good understanding of both construction production and project finances • Communicate fluently in Swedish in speech and writing and have good knowledge of English • Hold a category B driver's license • Are structured, business-minded, and thrive in a role where you take substantial personal responsibility while working closely with project management, production, and external parties Other Information Start: By agreement Scope: Full-time Location: Uppsala Submit your application as soon as possible as selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
