ABOUT THE POSITION: At our client, the measurement equipment and calibration department plays a central role in ensuring reliable measurements throughout the organization. As a calibration engineer, you are responsible for coordinating the calibration and inspection of measurement equipment for aircraft and helicopters, and the work includes internal inspections as well as coordination with external suppliers. In this role, you work in an advisory and coordinating capacity, contribute your expertise in case of deviations and when purchasing new equipment, and collaborate closely with procurement, production engineering, and production quality. The role offers both independent and team-based work, with great opportunities for variation and development within a broad technical field. A selection of your main responsibilities: - Plan and follow up to ensure measurement equipment is calibrated within set time intervals - Handle measurement equipment before and after external calibration - Conduct inspections of measurement equipment in areas such as pressure, flow, temperature, electrical, length, force, and ESD - Review and document technical analyses in various MPS systems - Support the procurement of calibration services and measurement equipment WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO: - Has a post-secondary technical education or equivalent experience - Has work experience from measurement technology and/or calibration as well as understanding of measurement equipment and processes - Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as the work involves reading technical documentation in both languages We consider it meritorious if you have previously worked with maintenance that has included documentation, follow-up, and care of technical equipment.
