Chief Inspector, Legal Department of the Main Administration Requirements for candidates: • Compliance with requirements set out in Articles 4 and 7 of the Service Statute for officials of institutions within the Ministry of Interior system and the Correctional Facilities Administration with special service ranks; • Level II professional higher education in the field of law; • Minimum 2 years of experience working in the legal field; service experience in institutions of the Ministry of Interior system is desirable; • Desirable experience working with administrative acts and legal document drafting; • English language knowledge at A2 level (for specific job duties); • Ability to use computer software; • Prior to assuming office, must obtain a Category 2 (Secret) special permit for access to state secrets facilities. Main job duties: • Conduct service inspections and prepare inspection result reports; • Investigate disciplinary violations and prepare draft decisions on disciplinary sanctions or case closure; • Develop and submit for approval draft regulatory acts, inter-agency agreements, cooperation contracts, and procedural documents; • Review draft regulatory acts, inter-agency agreements, cooperation contracts, and procedural documents prepared by other State Border Guard structural units and other institutions, and prepare opinion drafts; • Prepare opinions on interpretation and application of legal norms; • Provide legal consultations to State Border Guard personnel; • Represent the State Border Guard in state and local government institutions according to authorization.
