Talsu novada pašvaldība (registration number 90009113532) announces an open competition for the position of Senior Jurist in the Legal, Procurement and State-Owned Enterprises Supervision Department of the Talsu Municipality Administration (profession code 2611 01)
Responsibilities:
draft and coordinate contract and other document projects;
prepare responses to submitted complaints, suggestions and petitions;
prepare legal justifications for decision projects;
draft binding regulations;
participate in review of legal justification of decisions and binding regulations considered in Talsu Municipality Council, as well as preparation of legal justification, and provide legal support to the permanent committees of the Council;
prepare documents related to litigation procedures;
provide legal advice to municipal institutions, their structural unit heads and employees.
Requirements:
jurist qualification;
at least 2 years of experience as a jurist, legal consultant, jurist assistant or in another equivalent position (personnel specialist, procurement specialist, etc.);
knowledge of legal theory, understanding of general principles of law, knowledge and practical experience in applying principles and norms of public and private law;
experience in preparation of legal document projects;
state language proficiency at the highest level;
ability to work under increased stress conditions, organize work in accordance with set deadlines.
