Main duties: ensure the legality of the construction process in the administrative territory of Mārupes novads; participate in the work of the Construction Board commission, prepare draft decisions of the Construction Board, monitor the execution of decisions; review administrative cases in the construction field, prepare administrative acts, apply procedural enforcement measures, make decisions on administrative violations, etc.; prepare responses to submissions on matters within the department's competence; participate in the development of binding regulations to improve regulatory acts necessary for the performance of tasks within the department's competence. Position requirements and necessary knowledge: higher education in law with a qualification of jurist; at least 3 years of legal work experience in a state or municipal institution in a field related to construction over the last 7 years; knowledge of legal acts regulating state administration and municipal activities; knowledge of administrative procedure law, civil law, and civil procedure law; work experience in reviewing contested submissions in the construction field is considered an advantage; strong communication, business communication, and analytical skills, ability to work independently and in a team, organize work, take initiative and responsibility; ability to work quickly and under increased stress conditions; excellent skills in working with MS Office software; knowledge of the state language at the highest level in accordance with the requirements of the State Language Law.
