Lawyer for Foundation Oversight Do you want to make a difference in foundation law? As a lawyer with us, you'll have the opportunity to work with complex legal matters and be an important part of our work for a lawful and efficient operation. We are now seeking two lawyers who want to take on different but equally important parts of our mission. One assignment involves handling an ongoing flow of foundation cases with high quality and efficiency. The other involves using law as a tool to enable effective and lawful oversight to prevent criminal economy. What does the role include? As a lawyer specializing in foundation law, you are responsible for investigating and handling foundation cases by following up on foundations in accordance with applicable regulations. The work is done both independently and in close collaboration with other case handlers and lawyers in the unit. You work independently with multiple cases in parallel and are expected to be able to prioritize, structure, and switch pace between in-depth review and moving cases forward where needed. Because the volume of cases is sometimes high, it is important that you are both stable and well-organized. You are expected to actively contribute to developing work methods and priorities so that we achieve greater efficiency and shorter processing times without compromising legal certainty. You have sound judgment and see the bigger picture, taking the broader perspective into account in planning, action, and decision-making. Furthermore, you are thorough and responsible with a strong sense of legal certainty. Your main tasks are to: Investigate and handle incoming foundation cases. Exercise oversight of foundations. Communicate with foundations, boards, and representatives. Prioritize the case portfolio to ensure progress. Contribute to developing routines, work methods, and more efficient processes. Participate in internal collaboration and knowledge sharing. As an employee at the County Administrative Board, you may also be assigned other work tasks within the department or at the agency, as we are both a civil protection authority and may receive temporary assignments that need to be solved quickly. It is therefore a requirement that you as a person have an interest in working broadly when the opportunity arises. Are you the person we're looking for? For this role, we want you to have: Law degree, 270 higher education credits. Current experience with qualified legal work at a public authority, municipality, or court. Experience working with digital case management systems. Interest in economics and financial documentation. Experience expressing yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, for example through decision writing. You have sound legal judgment. This means you not only know what the law says, but can also determine what legal analysis is necessary in a particular case. You contribute to lawful case handling while maintaining a clear focus on efficiency and progress. To succeed in the oversight mission, you need to be confident in your role as a public authority and have the courage to make decisions in complex and sometimes challenging situations. It is a merit if you have/are Experienced in foundation law and/or corporate law, experienced in economic law and have experience with financial review, experienced in oversight, notary certified. You will be part of the unit for municipal and foundation oversight within the department for legal affairs. The unit consists of 16 employees, both lawyers and case handlers, and works with several oversight areas. The work is characterized by collaboration, high legal expertise, and shared responsibility. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to our improvement work to create even better and smarter work methods and solutions. We work in centrally located offices in Stockholm and there is an opportunity to work partially remotely.
