The Resilience Measures Unit currently consists of 11 people – five civil engineers/technicians, three lawyers, and two economists, plus a unit manager. About the Role As a lawyer, you'll work with a broad spectrum of legal matters related to the agency's sector responsibilities. The role involves qualified legal support in areas such as state aid, administrative law, constitutional law, and civil protection legislation. You'll provide advice on both ongoing operations and development matters, and participate in preparing and reviewing applications, decision documents, and various types of agreements. You'll also provide legal support in the agency's collaboration with other authorities and private actors, including matters related to NATO. The role also includes contributing to the development of regulations by participating in investigations, drafting regulations, and handling government remittals and inquiries from other agencies. You'll work closely with colleagues within the unit (engineers, lawyers, and economists) and the agency's legal department. You'll work both independently and as part of a team, with an important role in ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation. At the same time, you'll contribute to developing the agency's work by further developing advisory services, monitoring, and internal working methods, as well as participating in quality and improvement initiatives. About You We're looking for someone who is collaborative and enjoys working both independently and with colleagues from different fields of expertise to reach common goals. You're unpretentious, receptive, and value others' perspectives and knowledge. You work in a structured and methodical manner, with the ability to handle complex legal issues within a broad and varied field of work. You have good communication skills and can clearly and pedagogically convey legal assessments to different audiences, both within and outside the organization. To thrive and succeed in the role, you're also solution-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to changed circumstances while maintaining focus on the agency's goals and needs. We're looking for someone who has: A law degree of 270 ECTS credits or another academic degree in law/legal science of at least 180 ECTS credits. Several years of experience with qualified legal work. Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and good ability in English. It's a merit if you have: Knowledge of EU regulations regarding state aid. Knowledge within PTS areas such as electronic communications, digital services, postal services, and civil protection work.
