About the Assignment Bemannia is now seeking a Legal Counsel for our client in Örebro with a start date in mid-October running through year-end, with the possibility of extension. The role is approximately 50% and as a legal counsel you provide qualified legal support on complex matters within public administration and contribute to legally sound and well-founded decisions. You'll have a broad and varied role with responsibility for, among other things, confidentiality assessments, disclosure of public records, legal quality assurance, and advisory services to managers and staff. Your Responsibilities The work involves supporting the operations on complex legal matters within public administration. You are also responsible for independently conducting confidentiality assessments according to the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, and for producing legally well-founded and clear responses to individuals, representatives, media, and other external parties. The responsibilities also include: Review, assess, and respond to extensive or legally complicated requests for public records. Provide advice regarding the municipality's service obligations and disclosure obligations, and assist in determining the boundaries between service, information, and administrative authority. Support managers and staff in handling cases where legal risks or principal questions arise. Quality assure decisions, statements, service memoranda, and other documentation from a legal perspective. Identify legal risks and propose measures to ensure compliance with legislation and municipal governance documents. When necessary, coordinate contacts with municipal legal counsels, data protection officers, and other specialist functions. Your Qualifications Legal expertise in Social Law Knowledge of applicable laws in this field, for example the Local Government Act, Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, Social Services Act, LVU, and LVM. Experience in social administration and administrative authority. Available for interview with the client between 13:00-16:00 on 22/9.
