The department consists of five units with approximately 100 employees. The department shall contribute as efficiently as possible to uniform legal application with good legal quality throughout the agency by being directive and supportive on legal matters. We are responsible for governance, coordination, and support of legal issues in the areas of road traffic, rail traffic, maritime, and aviation. Working as a legal counsel in the department involves close collaboration with case handlers, subject matter experts, and other specialized competencies in work with permits, oversight, and regulation. The work is based on public law issues. The governing regulations in the subject matters are largely grounded in EU law and other international regulations. You must have a Bachelor of Laws or law degree several years of current experience as a legal counsel in a public agency, court, law firm, or similar very good ability to use Swedish in speech and writing good ability to use English in speech and writing.
