Junior Consultant Technology Risk | Assurance | Stockholm

Are you ready to shape the future with confidence? As a junior consultant in Technology Risk at EY, you'll join a team at the intersection of technology, business, and risk. You'll quickly start helping clients secure information management and meet regulatory requirements. You'll develop expertise in IT auditing, internal controls, and cybersecurity—with support from experienced colleagues in an inclusive culture. We're looking for you: a recent graduate in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, or business who wants to launch your career with us in August 2027 – with the possibility of an earlier start date. The position is based in Stockholm or Gothenburg. The Opportunity: Your next adventure awaits You'll work with a diverse client portfolio in both the private and public sectors, and participate in national as well as international projects. As a consultant, you'll be a key person in advising on IT internal controls, auditing, regulatory compliance, IT governance, and cybersecurity. You'll conduct risk analyses, evaluate IT processes, and propose improvements. In a dynamic environment, you'll tackle questions like: What risks do AI and automation bring? How reliable are cloud service providers' controls? How is customer data protected with third parties? Your analytical skills will be crucial in meeting these challenges and delivering secure solutions. Qualifications: Relevant university degree (for example, IT, information security, computer science, systems engineering, engineering, law, cybersecurity, or business administration) High proficiency in speaking and writing in both Swedish and English Meritorious: Master's degree is a plus Relevant IT technical expertise (for example, business systems management, operating systems, databases) or knowledge of IT risk and information security (e.g., CoBiT, ITIL, ISO27001, and NIST) is a plus As a person: Interest and understanding of IT risks and technology Responsive team player with ambition to be high-performing Communicative with strong ability to work in teams Curious and entrepreneurial Aptitude for handling change Detail-oriented Responsible and proactive What We Offer You Continuous learning: You'll develop mindsets and skills that help you navigate the future.
