đŒ Responsibilities
As a junior traffic coordinator in imports, you will work operationally to plan and coordinate trailer traffic from Europe to Sweden. The role is closely linked to daily operations, where you monitor flows in real time and adjust planning based on changes. The role means that you quickly become part of the operational routine, where you are expected to take responsibility for your tasks and gradually work more independently. You work at a high pace where you handle multiple parallel transports simultaneously and need to quickly prioritize and make decisions when circumstances change. You are responsible for ensuring bookings are made correctly, that transports run according to plan, and that deviations are handled continuously. Contact with transporters and drivers is ongoing, and you work in parallel across multiple systems. Over time, you will take responsibility for your own flows and relationships.
You will, among other things:
Plan and book import transports (trailers) from Europe to Sweden
Ensure that transports depart, arrive, and are unloaded according to plan
Have daily contact with transporters, drivers, and internal functions
Follow up on deliveries and work proactively on deviations
Handle replanning related to, for example, delays or changed volumes
đ Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
Good computer skills and ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously
Merits:
Post-secondary education in logistics, freight forwarding, or transport
Experience from service, administration, or a coordinating role
Understanding of road transport or international flows
To thrive in this role, you are curious and have a desire to learn how logistics flows work in practice. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward, even when the pace is high. You work in a structured manner, find it easy to prioritize, and enjoy an environment where a lot happens at once. You are communicative and comfortable with many contact points, both internally and externally, and have a solution-oriented approach when challenges arise.
