Do you want to work with technology that makes a real difference – while developing in your role as a systems engineer? Here you'll have the opportunity to become part of a technical environment where collaboration is the focus to ensure complex systems function as a whole.
We're looking for someone with relevant technical education as a foundation and who has already gathered at least one year of work experience from a technical role. You're still early in your career, but have gained practical understanding of technical systems, documentation, requirements, testing, networks, or technical collaboration in project environments.
With our client, you'll work closely with experienced colleagues and gradually develop within systems engineering, communication systems, and defense-related technical solutions. Apply today – we recruit on an ongoing basis!
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a systems engineer, you'll be part of working with technical systems throughout the product lifecycle – from requirements and design to testing, verification, and documentation. You'll work in projects where multiple technical domains meet and where collaboration is central.
The role can include:
Requirements and Documentation
Working with understanding, structuring, and following up on technical requirements. You'll contribute to keeping documentation up to date and ensuring requirements can be traced through the development process.
Technical Collaboration
Support in coordinating between different technical domains, such as software, electronics, mechanics, and testing. You'll learn how different parts of a system affect each other.
System Understanding and Technical Solutions
Contribute to analyzing system solutions, interfaces, and technical dependencies. Over time, you'll take greater responsibility for seeing how the pieces fit together in the bigger picture.
Testing, Verification, and Quality
Participate in verification, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure the system meets stated requirements. You'll also work with risks, deviations, and improvements together with more senior colleagues.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU WITH:
Technical education in, for example:
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Engineering Physics
Mechatronics
Automation
An interest in complex technical systems and wanting to understand how hardware, software, electronics, and mechanics interact.
Clear communication in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
MERITORIOUS:
It's positive if you've come into contact with any of the following through education, internship, thesis work, or previous work:
Requirements management or requirements tools, such as DOORS, Polarion, or similar.
Systems engineering, MBSE, SysML, or model-based approaches.
Testing, verification, validation, or technical troubleshooting.
The V-model, agile methods, or other structured development methodology.
Defense industry, aerospace, automotive, industrial, automation, or other technically complex operations.
Risk analysis, quality assurance, or technical documentation.
WHAT YOU'RE OFFERED:
Working with some of Sweden's most experienced systems engineers in the defense sector
You'll receive clear introduction, support from senior colleagues, and the opportunity to develop into more advanced systems roles over time.
The role suits you if you want to build a long-term career within systems engineering. Experience from the defense sector is highly sought after and provides a strong foundation for future roles in, for example, aerospace, automotive, and advanced product development.
