ABOUT THE ROLE: As a junior strategic procurement officer, you will work with procurement and purchasing for surface vessels and submarines. You work with all types of procurement, everything from engines to cables and systems. In close collaboration with project managers and materials planners, you work to supply the project with materials and components on time. You are an active part of the projects and work extensively out in operations/production. As a procurement officer, you join a larger team in similar roles with different skills and experiences. WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU: - Completed higher education or engineering degree in procurement, supply chain, economics, or equivalent - A few years of experience in procurement work - Interest in technology and the defense industry - Advantageous: experience from the Swedish Armed Forces/military service - Unobstructed knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written We're looking for someone who makes things happen, takes responsibility and initiative in your role, and enjoys working close to operations out in projects.
