Do you want to learn a practical trade and build something you can see? Northpower Steel Halls is now looking for a junior assembly technician who wants to develop together with us. You don't need previous experience with steel halls or assembly – what matters most is that you are driven, curious, and have the desire to learn. You will learn the trade from scratch together with our experienced assemblers on our construction projects. Through practical work and mentoring, you will gradually take on more responsibility as you develop. Job Responsibilities As a junior assembly technician, you will become part of our assembly teams and work on steel hall assembly projects throughout Sweden. The work is practical, varied, and you'll have the opportunity to develop in several areas of assembly. You will have the chance to learn: • Assembly of steel structures • Installation of roof and wall systems • Use of hand tools and machines • Work with lifts and other equipment • Blueprint reading and understanding of building structures You will work together with our experienced assemblers who support you daily and help you develop into an independent technician. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who is driven, hardworking, and enjoys practical work. You don't need to know everything from the start – the right attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn are what matter most to us. Maybe you've just finished high school, have experience from practical work, or simply want to change direction and learn a new trade. Regardless of your background, what's most important to us is that you are curious, engaged, and want to develop. We believe you are: • Curious and want to learn new things • Driven and like getting things done • Practically minded and enjoy physically active work • Responsible and thorough • A team player who enjoys working together with others • Flexible and able to work at different locations throughout Sweden Requirements · Class B driver's license · Basic knowledge of Swedish – you need to be able to understand and communicate orally in Swedish · Ability to work on projects throughout Sweden Merits – but not required Experience or education in any of the following is a merit, but it is not required: • Construction or assembly • Steel structures or steel halls • Machine operation, such as wheel loader or telescopic handler • Sheet metal work • Welding • Lift or other work machines What We Offer At Northpower, you get practical and varied work where you learn a trade from scratch together with experienced colleagues. Your base will be in our facilities with our own workshop in Haninge in southern Stockholm. We expect you to work approximately 50% of your time in the Stockholm area and the remaining time at construction sites around the country.
