About Avizion Finans
Avizion Finans is a financial company specializing in corporate financing, debt collection, and accounting. Since its founding in 2019, the company has developed a broad range of operations and today has approximately 30 employees with its headquarters in Gothenburg and offices in Stockholm, Malmö, and Jönköping.
Now Avizion Finans is strengthening its legal department and is seeking a Junior Process Lawyer for the Gothenburg office.
About the Role
As a Junior Process Lawyer, you will be part of Avizion Finans's legal function and work closely with the company's Chief Legal Officer. Today the function consists of the Chief Legal Officer, and with this recruitment, the team will expand to two lawyers.
This role is ideal for you if you are at the beginning of your legal career and want to develop within procedural law, debt collection, and financial law. A central part of the work is managing disputed debt collection cases and representing Avizion Finans clients in court, but you will also work broadly with other legal issues within the company.
You will progressively take on significant responsibility while having close support and guidance from the Chief Legal Officer. For the right person, there are excellent opportunities to develop and build strong legal expertise in the finance and debt collection sector.
Your Main Responsibilities
Handle legal matters related to debt collection cases
Manage cases in district court and represent the organization as legal counsel
Draft and review briefs, statements, and appeals
Handle enforcement objections and other legal matters within debt collection
Draft, review, and update agreements
Conduct legal investigations and legal assessments
Provide legal support to other parts of the organization
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking someone with a Swedish law degree who is at the beginning of their career. You may be recently graduated or have a couple of years of experience from, for example, a law firm, court, debt collection agency, bank, finance company, or other organization where you have worked with legal matters.
You have a particular interest in litigation and enjoy analyzing legal issues, formulating arguments, and advancing cases.
If you have completed a clerkship or have experience in debt collection, creditor rights, or procedural law, that is a merit but not a requirement.
As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, and comfortable making your own decisions. You have an unpretentious approach and thrive in an environment where people collaborate, help each other, and sometimes need to quickly get up to speed on new issues.
You express yourself very well in speech and writing in Swedish and have good English skills.
