As a future installation technician at Installationsgruppen, you will mainly work with simpler tasks such as cable routing to start, and later you will learn to install telecommunications, data, fiber, alarms, camera surveillance, indoor coverage for 4G, 5G, and RAKEL. You will be working quite a bit physically and it's good if you're in good shape, like varied tasks, and enjoy going out to help different customers alongside a more experienced colleague. The work involves pulling cable, performing installations, labeling, and documenting at our customers' sites, which are primarily located in the Mälardalen and Greater Stockholm areas.
Occasionally we have assignments in other parts of Sweden and sometimes even jobs abroad. It's a varied job with a mix of larger and smaller projects, so it's important that you enjoy changing environments from time to time.
You need to have a genuine technical interest in problem-solving, not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves" with practical work, and most importantly – HIGH WORK ETHIC, which is part of our company culture. If you have technical training and/or are generally skilled in construction or are a handy "country kid" who knows a bit about electrical work, that's certainly a merit, but most important is that you are productive, results-oriented with the interest and ambition to learn to become skilled. Perhaps you've tried jobs in the construction industry as a carpenter or assembler, perhaps you have experience from the IT world. Regardless of your background, your ambition is to deliver good craftsmanship, develop, and become skilled at what you do.
