Learn more at soyagroup.com 1 position(s). At Wallenius Marine, we are seeking a Junior Ship Engineer for the vessel Don Juan. Don Juan is a classic Ro-Ro vessel operating in various parts of the world with a wonderful team onboard. Don Juan is on charter for Japanese Seven Seals and operates in and between Asia, Tanzania, and Kenya. About the Position The role of Junior Ship Engineer onboard Don Juan involves variety, problem-solving, and collaboration with your other colleagues in the engine department. The position can be perfect for you if you are recently graduated, or if you have previous experience. In the role, you will have varied tasks, such as: • Operation and monitoring • Safety and documentation • Maintenance and repairs • Technical support to other ship engineers onboard Onboard Don Juan, both Filipino and Swedish crew members work together. As we have a mixed crew, we speak English onboard. Terms • The position is a permanent employment, beginning with a standard probationary period • Rotation length: approximately 8 weeks • Start date by agreement. The position may be filled before the application deadline closes.
