Position Title: Junior Broker, Facultative Reinsurance Location: Karlín, Prague, Czech Republic Job Responsibilities • Assist in evaluating and analyzing client risks with the goal of proposing customized facultative reinsurance solutions. • Prepare reinsurance documentation, including presentations and materials for risk placement. • Support facultative reinsurance negotiations with reinsurers under the guidance of experienced brokers. • Manage existing facultative reinsurance portfolios and ensure accuracy and currency of records. • Communicate with clients and reinsurers and build long-term professional relationships. • Collaborate with other Gallagher teams to ensure quality service delivery to clients. • Support business development and monitor current market trends. • Learn to use internal tools and systems, streamline processes, and ensure timely task and deadline completion. Requirements • University degree in finance, economics, commercial administration, or a related field. • Previous experience in insurance or reinsurance is advantageous; however, willingness to learn and develop further is equally important. • Adaptability and resilience are among your strengths and you thrive in a dynamic environment. • English language proficiency is essential; knowledge of at least one Central and Eastern European (CEE) region language is advantageous. • You have excellent organizational and communication skills and enjoy working with others. • You are self-motivated but also able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently. • You are willing to travel within the CEE region, both within the Czech Republic and abroad.
