We are now seeking a Junior Occupational Health and Safety Engineer who wants to contribute to the unit's development. About the role The organization has a significant need for support in systematic occupational health and safety work and in risk assessments of work tasks. This need has grown as we operate at three different locations: the lab in Flemingsberg, the warehouse in Tumba, and the operations in Jordbro. Responsibilities: Systematic Occupational Health and Safety Work (SAM) Map and analyze the current state of occupational health and safety within the organization Develop and coordinate systematic occupational health and safety work and annual planning Follow up to ensure planned measures are implemented Risk Assessments Prepare and support risk assessments Follow up on previous risk assessments and verify that measures have been completed Communicate with the organization Compliance Monitor applicable legal and regulatory requirements and identify which requirements apply to each operation Ensure that procedures are in place related to the requirements Safety Rounds Support and participate in safety rounds Identify deficiencies related to risk assessments Follow up and verify completion of measures Procedures Related to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's Regulations (AFS) Review, validate, and ensure that existing procedures comply with current AFS requirements and identify any areas for improvement. As a person, you are a team player who contributes to making the team strong. Since the role involves extensive communication, you need to speak and write Swedish and English fluently. We would also like to see that you have: A relevant higher education qualification in occupational health science or equivalent experience and training in strategic occupational health and safety work. Solid knowledge of Swedish occupational health and safety legislation, SAM, and occupational health and safety management systems (ISO 45001). Experience with risk assessments.
