Are you a master's student with a flexible schedule looking for a rewarding and socially impactful side job? Are you passionate about matching individuals into the job market? Then a position as a job matcher at StudentConsulting is perfect for you! We at StudentConsulting in Stockholm are now looking for you to work part-time as a job matcher alongside your studies and help people find work or education. The work mainly consists of coaching, matching, guiding, and supporting job seekers into employment or studies, through individual conversations and group workshops, among other things. The work is characterized by a clear focus on results with the goal of helping participants into employment and supporting and motivating them throughout the entire job search process. The work also includes certain administrative and outreach tasks. Working hours are Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. A requirement to be considered for the position is that you must be able to work at least 16 hours per week and must be able to be on-site at our office in central Stockholm. Since this position requires certain specific staffing times, we prefer that you study remotely, are writing your thesis, or otherwise have a flexible study schedule. To succeed in this role, it is important that you find it easy to meet new people and situations. Being self-driven in your processes, taking great personal responsibility, and good organizational skills are qualities we consider important for this role. We believe that you, who appreciate the feeling of helping and supporting others, will thrive very well in this role, and we take for granted that you always strive to do a good job. Experience in coaching and/or recruitment will be very helpful in the work for your own part, but is not a requirement. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Requirements to be considered for the position: - You are studying at a college or university (at least 50%) and have AT LEAST 6 months remaining in your studies - You meet either alternative 1 or 2: 1. - Have completed at least 180 university credits at university level within: work life, organization and human resources, career guidance and vocational guidance, business administration, workplace psychology, behavioral science, occupational therapy, or as part of social work education, or within another relevant field. - AND at least two years of work experience equivalent to full-time. 2. - Have completed at least one (1) year of full-time studies at post-secondary level with passing grades. - AND at least three (3) years of work experience equivalent to full-time in one or several of the following professions or work tasks mentioned below: - Management with personnel responsibility. - Recruitment. - Transition work for job seekers. - Career guidance and vocational guidance. - Handling of personnel matters (not solely personnel administration). - Work with employment and labor market issues. - Work with social and group psychology. - Career counseling. Can provide documentation showing current studies, previous work experience, and previously completed studies. - Can work at least 16 hours per week. - Can work on-site 2-3 days per week at our office in Stockholm city. - You have very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English. - Additional knowledge of one more language is an asset. What we are looking for: - You should have good computer skills. - We prefer that you have previously worked with coaching, mentoring, guidance, and/or recruitment and staffing. - As a person, you are thorough, flexible, creative, and skilled in conversation with other people. You like a fast pace and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You are skilled at inspiring and motivating others, and you are helpful and confident in yourself. You value differences in people and have great understanding of the impact that differences can have.
