Work Extra as a Personal Assistant

We are now looking for several personal assistants for a man who needs support and help in his daily life. You will become part of his assistant team and work extra as needed, for example when regular staff are absent or on vacation. Since these are on-call positions as needed, it is required that you have the ability to step in urgently with short notice as well as for planned absences with longer lead time. About the Role As a personal assistant, you support the client in all aspects of daily life, both at home and outside the home. Work tasks include: Personal hygiene Laundry and cleaning Activities Practical and physical support Motivational and emotional support The client has MS and has lost his mobility; he needs help with most things in his daily life. Therefore, it is important that you are present, attentive, and can adapt your support to his needs. The client smokes and smoking occurs indoors in his home. There is a separate smoke-free staff room with an air purifier, and several measures have been taken to improve the work environment for staff. As an employee, you are not permitted to smoke at the workplace. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with a calm, secure, and empathetic approach. You are attentive, can follow clear instructions, and take initiative when the situation requires it. You need to be able to speak and write Swedish since documenting the client's daily life is part of the work. Experience in personal care or similar work is a merit, but the most important thing is personal chemistry and that you are dedicated, responsible, and confident in your role. At this workplace, both single-staffed and double-staffed shifts occur. Shifts are scheduled during daytime, evening, and weekends.
