Java Developer at Quest Consulting

We are now seeking a Java developer for Quest Consulting. You will be working for our client and will be part of a larger technical product area. The client's team is a cross-functional and agile development team. The assignment includes development and management of services including: Backend for sales and associated payment services Backend for sales through own and external resellers System support for customer service Integrations with external digital resellers and services Infrastructure, monitoring and operation of cloud-based services The team works with two-week sprints and continuous releases. The solutions are primarily cloud-based and developed in AWS, with Java and Spring as central technologies. Docker is used for containerization and automated build and deployment processes are handled through Jenkins, among others. A large part of the system landscape is distributed and event-based. The focus is on developing services that are robust, secure, scalable and user-friendly. Required qualifications: University degree in computer science, systems science or equivalent, or at least 8 years of professional experience in systems development. At least 5 years of experience in independent systems development in teams where code review is a natural part of the development process. At least 3 years of experience with Java 17 or later in production systems, including design and implementation of business-critical functionality. At least 2 years of experience designing, implementing and managing solutions in AWS. Practical experience with at least 3 of the following AWS services/technologies: ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation/CDK/Terraform, IAM and CloudWatch. At least 2 years of experience with automated CI/CD environments for build and deployment, for example with Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines, CircleCI or Ansible. At least 2 years of experience with Spring Boot in production environments. At least 1 year of experience independently designing and/or implementing event-based or distributed systems in production environments. At least 1 year of experience with container technology, for example Docker, within the last 3 years. Desired qualifications: Experience designing and/or implementing HTTP-based APIs. Experience working with national standards for ticket distribution and ticket verification. Experience with independent database development work, including data modeling, SQL development and performance optimization. Your Application Does the role sound interesting and suitable?
