The Tax Agency's IT department is one of Sweden's largest with around 1,700 employees responsible for developing, operating, and managing the Tax Agency's IT landscape. In the IT department, we develop among other things digital infrastructure for other authorities and for all of Sweden, and we also collaborate with other authorities. AI solutions for faster and more efficient information management, solutions for handling VAT and employer contributions, as well as data warehouses for sharper analysis and better governance. We work agile with support from the SAFe framework and you get to influence the change journey. You work in a team where you together are responsible for both development and operations. You'll have the opportunity for varied tasks with development environments that include multiple generations of technology, platforms, and tools. The Tax Agency is transitioning to a new technical platform based on OCP. In the role of Java Developer, there is an opportunity to develop within container technology. About you To do a good job and feel at home with us at the Tax Agency, you need to be attentive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In the work, good judgment and understanding of legal security and safety are important. You should also live up to our employee policy. In this job you should: - be results-oriented and look after both the group's and your own performance - act consciously and professionally based on good self-awareness - have the ability and willingness to learn new things, be flexible and able to adapt to changes - have good collaboration skills, be helpful and have a good demeanor - have good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish - be able to analyze information flows, see connections, patterns, and make delimitations. You should also have: - higher education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in the IT field, alternatively several years of current and relevant work experience that the employer deems relevant - several years of current and relevant work experience in Java programming - current and relevant work experience with generative AI. Furthermore, it is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience of agile working methods and experience with Git, Spring Boot, OCP, Vue, React, integrations, and working with architecturally complex systems. Good to know The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security check with record control according to the security protection act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment.
