About the role In the role, you work as a consultant at the customer and are part of a development team responsible for new development and further development of systems. You work in an agile environment where collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement are in focus. Work as a Java developer in the customer's development team Participate in the entire development process – from design to deployment Collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners Contribute to technical decisions and improvement work Your responsibilities Your responsibilities vary depending on the assignment and team, but include developing robust and future-proof system solutions. You often work in distributed systems using modern development methods. Develop and maintain applications in Java Design and implement APIs and microservices Work with databases and integrations Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews Participate in architecture and design decisions Contribute to CI/CD and automated delivery workflows Your background To succeed in the role, you are an experienced developer with a good understanding of modern system architectures and an interest in building sustainable solutions. Experience with Java development (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot) Experience with React for frontend development Experience with REST APIs and microservices Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) Experience with CI/CD and version control (Git) Experience with agile working methods Good knowledge of Swedish and English Meritorious Experience with container technology, particularly Kubernetes Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Experience with event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka) Experience with test automation Previous experience as a consultant You as a person You are a solution-oriented and curious person who thrives in the consultant role and in technically challenging assignments. You have a structured working approach and take responsibility for your delivery. You are communicative and enjoy collaborating with others, while having the ability to work independently.
