The Memorial Museums Association invites applications for a Senior Specialist position at the Jānis Rozentāls and Rūdolfs Blaumanis Museum! For the position at the Jānis Rozentāls and Rūdolfs Blaumanis Museum, we are announcing a competition for a vacant Senior Specialist position (full-time, indefinite duration). Key job responsibilities: - Conduct research, educational, and collection work related to Rūdolfs Blaumanis; - Lead educational programs related to Rūdolfs Blaumanis; develop new educational programs, prepare and implement themed museum tours, lectures, and publications aligned with the museum's profile; - Participate in the preparation and organization of museum exhibitions, events, and other activities. Requirements for candidates: - Master's degree or second-level higher education in humanities or social sciences; - Interest and in-depth knowledge of Latvian literature and art history; - State language proficiency at the highest level, ability to communicate fluently in English; - Understanding of museum work and cultural heritage preservation; - Independence, accuracy, strong sense of responsibility, and excellent communication skills; - Ability to work according to a schedule, including weekends and public holidays. We offer: - Full-time employment for an indefinite period at the Jānis Rozentāls and Rūdolfs Blaumanis Museum, Alberga Street 12-9, Riga; - Working hours according to a schedule; - Monthly salary of EUR 1,160.00 (before taxes); - Social guarantees in accordance with state administration regulations; - Additional vacation for annual work performance evaluation (up to 4 working days).
