Viesīte Museum "Sēlija" invites applications for an EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING AND VISITOR SERVICES SPECIALIST Viesīte Museum "Sēlija", a municipal institution of Jēkabpils Municipality (A. Brodeles 7, Viesīte, Jēkabpils Municipality), is seeking to expand its team with an Educational Programming and Visitor Services Specialist (professional code 2621 11). ________________________________________ Job Responsibilities: • Plan, organize, and lead the museum's educational activities, classes, and thematic events for diverse audiences. • Manage visitor reception, education, and interpretation of museum exhibitions and displays (guided tours, presentations, etc.). • Prepare informational materials and content for the museum's public communication. • Strengthen the museum's partnerships with schools, educational and cultural institutions. • Enhance the museum's visibility and recognition. ________________________________________ Candidate Requirements: • Preferred education in humanities, social sciences, or pedagogy. • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to audiences. • Interest in Sēlija history, cultural heritage, and community engagement. • Ability to creatively organize educational activities and work collaboratively in a team. • Strong Latvian language proficiency. • Basic computer skills (MS Office, digital communication). ________________________________________ Working Conditions and Compensation: • Fixed-term position with a 3-month probationary period. • Work location: A.
