School Psychologist

Bauskas pilsētas pamatskola (reg. no. 90009116223) invites applications for a School PSYCHOLOGIST 1. Conduct psychological assessments of students, including observation during and outside of classes; 2. Assess the socio-psychological environment of students; 3. Provide counseling to students, parents, and teachers regarding student psychological issues; 4. Develop principles for promoting students' mental development in cases of learning difficulties and provide recommendations to teachers and parents for support; 5. Implement preventive measures; 6. Educate students, parents, and teachers on psychology-related topics; 7. Collaborate with parents, inform them about student achievements and challenges at the educational institution, and jointly seek solutions; 8. Monitor and assess students' developmental progress; 9. Plan work activities and report results according to procedures established by the educational institution; 10. Participate in pedagogical council meetings and other gatherings related to teaching and educational work; 11. Maintain documentation in accordance with requirements set by the educational institution; 12. Ensure student safety and compliance with the educational institution's internal regulations; 13. Immediately report to the educational institution's administration, law enforcement agencies, health protection institutions, and child protection authorities any cases of emotional or physical violence against students within or outside the educational institution; 14. Continuously improve professional competencies; 15. Comply with work procedures and ethical standards; 16. Execute director's orders for work not provided in the employment contract to prevent consequences caused by extraordinary circumstances that could adversely affect normal operations of the educational institution.
