Bebru preschool educational institution "Bitīte" invites you to join our team as an EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST We are looking for a responsible, professional, and child-centered educational psychologist to work in our preschool educational institution. Position: 0.4 full-time equivalent Job Responsibilities: • Provide psychological support to preschool-age children; • Conduct assessment of children's emotional and psychological development; • Consult with parents and preschool educators; • Help resolve children's behavioral, adaptation, communication, and emotional difficulties; • Collaborate with the preschool teaching team and support specialists; • Prepare recommendations to support children's development; • Participate in creating a supportive and inclusive environment at the institution. Requirements for Candidates: • Higher education in psychology (preferably in educational and school psychology); • Possible collaboration with Master's students in psychology, based on evaluation of candidate's suitability and professional competence; • Compliance with professional practice requirements for psychologists; • Good communication and collaboration skills; • Empathetic and responsible attitude toward children and families; • Ability to independently organize work and make professional decisions; • Desirable: experience working with preschool-age children.
