Ādažu Municipality Ādažu Children and Youth Sports School invites to join the team as an Education Methodologist (full-time) Are you passionate about quality education, sports development, and working with educators? We invite you to join the Ādažu Children and Youth Sports School team as an Education Methodologist. We are looking for a professional, initiative-driven, and collaboration-oriented colleague who will help improve the educational process, provide methodological support to educators, coordinate sports events, and contribute to the development of the Sports School. Start date – September 1, 2026. Your main responsibilities: ensure methodological management of the educational process at the Sports School and provide recommendations for its improvement; develop and improve methodological materials, maintain the methodological materials database, and promote its development; provide methodological support to educators, students, and their parents, promoting quality teaching and training processes; support new and student educators, organize experience exchange, and encourage professional development; in collaboration with educators, analyze students' development dynamics and athletic achievements, preparing recommendations for improving the educational process; coordinate the planning and implementation of the Sports School and municipality sports events, competitions, and other activities; prepare regulations for sports events and competition calendars, as well as coordinate their implementation; collect and analyze sports competition results and ensure information publication in the Sports School and municipality information channels; build and maintain cooperation with educational institutions, sports organizations, sports federations, state and municipal institutions; evaluate the implementation of sports events and projects, develop recommendations for their improvement, and participate in sports development initiatives; prepare documents, reports, and recommendations related to the position's competencies for improving the Sports School's operations; promote the achievements of the Sports School, educators, and students. We expect: education in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 569 "Regulations on the Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Educators and the Procedure for Enhancing Pedagogical Professional Competence"; desirable work experience as a sports educator or education methodologist and in organizing sports events; understanding of professional sports education and sports industry development trends; state language proficiency at the highest level; good skills in working with MS Office programs; experience with the information system "Namejs" will be considered an advantage; excellent organizational skills, initiative, high sense of responsibility, ability to plan work and set priorities; good cooperation and communication skills.
