Employment type: Fixed-term employment contract ESF+ Project No. 4.2.2.3/1/24/I/001 "Development of Teachers' Professional Support System", project duration: until August 31, 2029 Monthly salary: 329 EUR (0.2 workload) Profession code – 2351 01 Application deadline: July 31, 2026 Main responsibilities: · Provide professional support to educational institutions in the district in the Latvian language field. · Organize and maintain regular collaboration with Latvian language teachers in the district. · Promote the collection of best practice examples and inform teachers about current developments. · Implement support measures and provide consultations to teachers on educational quality development issues in the Latvian language field. · Suggest proposals and solutions for developing Latvian language content in the district. · Regularly inform the direct supervisor about all important events and progress within your area of competence. · Maintain communication with state and municipal level methodologists to achieve project goals. · Collaborate with project methodologists from other districts. Requirements for candidates: · In accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 569 of September 11, 2018 "Regulations on Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Teachers and Procedures for Teachers' Professional Competence Development". · Higher pedagogical education. · Ability to organize, work in a team, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. · Ability to express and substantiate your opinion with arguments. · At least 3 years of work experience in pedagogical work in the Latvian language teaching field. · Desired experience in planning, coordinating, or organizing methodological work in Latvian language. · Desired experience in organizing collaborative or methodological work among multiple educational institutions. · Knowledge and skills in developing educational content and methodological materials. · Good office equipment skills. · Excellent computer literacy. · State language proficiency at the advanced level in accordance with the State Language Law requirements.
