Job Description We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to delivering and developing the IT department's support operations to the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's 22,000 employees. You are driven by a desire to help and educate others with digital tools and have a strong interest in understanding employees' needs and expectations. As an IT Technician, you will work independently with troubleshooting and guide the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's employees. Together with your colleagues at the IT Service Center, you actively work to support our users and clients in a high-quality and efficient manner. In your service role, you will, among other things: • Provide first-line troubleshooting and user guidance, primarily via telephone and case management systems • Contribute to increased digital maturity in our operations by, for example, acting in an advisory capacity, guiding, and supporting users regarding the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's IT applications • Help develop our working methods and processes to increase quality and efficiency in our deliveries • Be the first point of contact for employees regarding questions and troubleshooting, primarily related to the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's IT applications Qualifications We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, attentive, and has the ability to adapt to the recipient. We are looking for someone who has: • Complete upper secondary education in the form of final grades or an upper secondary diploma, or alternatively other education combined with work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant. • Experience in service or support, or other work experience that the employer deems relevant. • Experience working with various types of IT applications • Experience with administrative work • Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish • Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in English • Very good computer skills It is also advantageous to have: • Upper secondary education with an IT focus • Experience working with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's core systems • Experience in technical IT support • Experience in remote support • Experience in application-related IT support • Understanding of the complexity of working in larger organizations Other Information The Swedish Prison and Probation Service has decided to eliminate the personal letter and replace it with selection questions relevant to the position.
