IT Technician

In Lund, operations are conducted in a production-close environment where IT plays an important role in daily operations. Responsibilities As an IT Technician, your primary task is to provide local support to employees in Lund, handling troubleshooting, networking, user support, and IT-related assistance. In addition, you participate in tickets and projects from other parts of the organization. The role has a strong operational focus close to local production processes. Using your knowledge, you propose preventive measures that strengthen delivery reliability, stability, and minimize risks. You will be part of an international IT team that collectively is responsible for support and development of the organization's internal IT environment. Your tasks will include: • Managing production-close IT operations in Lund (client/server/network) and associated services • Managing and ensuring functioning backups • Participating in change and implementation projects, and contributing input to policies and strategies • Documenting, monitoring, analyzing, and continuously ensuring that the IT environment meets requirements, standards, and delivers the correct quality • Contributing to systems having the availability agreed upon with business and process owners Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities • Experience working as an IT Technician in a similar role with good understanding of IT infrastructure • Strong experience with network configuration/installation equivalent to CCNA/CCNP and firewalls • Experience with Microsoft products including Active Directory and related services (DNS, DHCP, File/Print), and M365. Knowledge of Azure AD is a plus • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written As a person, you are flexible, unpretentious, and thrive in a broad role where you take responsibility and drive your tasks forward with high quality.
