As an organization, we are now transitioning from being a relatively specialized purchasing function to handling parts of the operation and support of our IT environment ourselves, with a focus on the parts that require security protection. We are now seeking an additional IT technician for our unit who has broad interest in developing, operating, and supporting internal and often technically advanced IT environments. In addition to the below, we consider it an asset if you have experience driving smaller projects/sub-project deliveries independently. Some of your work tasks will include: Provide support for the physical IT environment by diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues. Manage and administer accounts, permissions, systems, and technical devices. Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, network equipment, printers, and other technical devices. Manage data backup and recovery procedures. Develop and maintain IT operations procedures in accordance with security requirements. The role is a permanent position and involves daytime work based in our office environment in Hjorthagen. Part of the work may need to be performed at other Stockholm Exergi facilities, such as Hammarby. The work requires physical presence, with some flexibility. Initially, the role will be linked to a security-classified project, so you will need to pass a security clearance before possible employment. Why work with me? Requirements Class B driver's license Swedish citizenship Post-secondary education in information technology or other education combined with relevant experience for the role Experience with practical IT support of infrastructure and network services Experience with practical IT support for application management Strong knowledge of upgrades, IT applications, and hardware Strong knowledge of infrastructure services and backup Strong knowledge of IT networks and IT systems for security and monitoring Curious about us or our facilities?
