Unit Mission The Support and Monitoring unit is tasked with monitoring our systems in real time and, through preventive work, we contribute to stable and secure IT operations. We work closely with the business and participate in developing both work methods and IT solutions. Together with other functions within the unit, we deliver proactive and business-focused support to both the agency's employees and external users. Our Service Desk is located in two places, Härnösand and Östersund, and consists of approximately 40 employees. We are responsible for technical support within the Swedish Public Employment Service's IT environment and serve as an important link between users and specialists in various IT areas. Job Description As a member of our Service Desk, your primary responsibility is to support our users by receiving error reports via phone, email, and web forms. You will also, to some extent, handle orders and requests and provide support and guidance. Here you work in both first and second-line support. You handle calls through our contact management platform and document and manage all tickets in ServiceNow. You work closely with your colleagues primarily within your work group, but may also need to collaborate with others within our unit and across the agency. Our working hours are Monday-Friday 7:48 AM-4:30 PM. Your workday is scheduled by our Staffing Coordinator, who also manages the daily traffic flow of our incoming tickets. Our Offer We are seeking one or two employees for permanent full-time positions that may begin with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
