Your Role
You are responsible for shaping how LKAB translates digitalization and AI into concrete business value. In an extensive transformation, you create direction, prioritize the right initiatives, and drive programs that strengthen safety, quality, delivery capacity, and productivity.
You coordinate company-wide initiatives, develop strategic areas, and work closely with operations and leadership to translate ideas into scalable solutions. You also further develop working methods, governance, and platforms that enable the next step in LKAB's digital development.
You are part of the leadership team for Development & Digital Transformation and report to LKAB's Department Head for Development & Digital Transformation. The role involves significant influence over how we develop our working methods, our digital capabilities, and how we translate AI from potential to business value.
What You Bring
As a person, you have strategic thinking and the ability to see the big picture, create direction, and understand which initiatives deliver the greatest long-term value. You are communicative and can make complex issues understandable for different audiences, while building trust and creating alignment between IT, operations, and leadership. You thrive in collaboration with others, drive work forward in a proactive manner, and have a solution-oriented approach where you see opportunities, find ways forward, and translate ideas into concrete results.
You also bring:
Completed academic education that the employer deems relevant for the position
Experience working with digitalization, AI, or advanced IT in a larger organization
Experience with strategic work and change management
Experience working cross-functionally between IT and operations
It is an advantage if you:
Have worked with AI initiatives or AI-driven business development
Have experience with program management rather than individual projects
Have experience from the mining industry
