Main Responsibilities As an IT specialist in private cloud environments, you will be part of a team responsible for VMware-based platforms and connected systems. Together, you are responsible for the entire change journey – from design and requirements to implementation and handover in close cooperation with internal and external parties. The role is characterized by great responsibility and trust. You are expected to work independently and solution-oriented and contribute to the team achieving its goals. Through your work, you contribute to strengthening the Swedish Armed Forces' ability to operate in a secure, robust, and accessible IT environment. Qualifications We are looking for you with solid experience and deep specialist expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation or related technologies. You have previously worked with implementation and management of highly complex private cloud environments and enjoy being a reliable resource for other colleagues in the work group. For this role, you must have: University or college education in IT or equivalent experience and education that the Swedish Armed Forces considers equivalent. At least three years of experience with VMware Cloud Foundation or related technologies such as VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria. You need to master Swedish and English well, both spoken and written. Meritorious Experience Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux Experience with database platforms and database environments Experience with storage solutions Experience with infrastructure automation, Git, and CI/CD Experience with server hardware Experience with container technology Experience working in security-classified or mission-critical environments Experience with agile working methods Driver's license, class B at minimum Meritorious Certifications VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, or equivalent) Microsoft certifications Linux certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or equivalent) Personal Qualities As a person, you are curious and solution-oriented.
