Your Role As an IT Service Owner, you are responsible for managing communication solutions, systems, and associated components that enable secure and stable communication to our stations across the country. This may include solutions and equipment that support data transmission, remote control, monitoring, and connectivity between stations, communication networks, and central OT systems. In your role, you also ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity requirements, policies, and internal standards, and establish working practices that contribute to stable operations, high availability, and clear accountability for communication solutions. With a proactive approach, you work with risks, requirements, and improvements related to technology, vendors, and service delivery. Furthermore, you ensure that ongoing deliverables meet E.ON standards and that the area develops in line with digitalization, monitoring, and secure communication in power grid operations. You will work with, among other things: End-to-end responsibility from access management, support, and incident follow-up to lifecycle management, development, and decommissioning of legacy technology. Leading management work together with the technical operations team and coordinating maintenance, requirements, and continuous improvements. Responsibility for budget and financial activities, including managing and monitoring contracts and communicating with system and technology vendors. Collaborating with operations, technical specialist functions, and other parts of Operational IT, where you discuss needs and requirements and contribute to solutions that strengthen efficient, secure, and future-proof operations. About You To succeed in the role of IT Service Owner, we believe you are an initiative-taking person with strong execution capability and good communication skills. You have a degree in IT, communications, networking, automation, or equivalent experience. You also have experience leading and driving projects, management work, or service delivery within technology-related operations, for example in systems management or IT-related services. Experience with communication solutions, network technology, or work in technically complex environments is a merit, particularly if you have worked at the intersection of IT and OT. If you also have knowledge of management models such as PM3 and ITIL, we consider that an advantage. What Is It Like Here?
