Sollentuna Municipality is in an exciting development phase where cybersecurity and information security work is being strengthened to meet future requirements. We are now seeking an IT Security Coordinator responsible for leading the coordinated work of securing our IT systems and protecting sensitive information. As an IT Security Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to build working methods, processes, and structures that will be crucial for the municipality's long-term security capabilities. You will become part of the municipality's IT Operations Unit, which consists of 15 employees. The unit is organized into different service areas, each led by a service area manager responsible for strategically and tactically managing and developing their area. The service area managers work closely with our contracted suppliers. The unit also includes an IT Operations Manager who supports the organization's operations managers in maintaining and developing systems within operations. Responsibilities As an IT Security Coordinator, you play an important role in protecting the municipality's systems, data, and users against digital threats. You are responsible for coordinating and developing the municipality's IT security work in close cooperation with operations, suppliers, and the municipality's CISO/Information Security Coordinator. The focus is on governance, monitoring, risk management, and ensuring that IT security is integrated into the municipality's working methods and processes. In day-to-day work, you monitor the IT security situation, participate as a requirements setter, follow up on our suppliers, and educate users on IT security issues based on information and IT security policies. On a broader level, you help develop the municipality's IT security strategy together with the CISO/Information Security Coordinator. You assess risks and propose new solutions, collaborating with other departments to ensure that security work is a natural part of the entire organization. Your main responsibilities Coordinate the municipality's IT security work. Drive and follow up on work related to NIS2, the Cybersecurity Act, and internal governance documents. Support operations with risk analyses, information classification, and security assessments. Ensure that IT security requirements are specified in procurements and supplier contracts. Monitor suppliers' compliance with the municipality's security requirements. Coordinate the management and follow-up of IT security incidents. Plan and conduct training and information initiatives. Participate in work on the municipality's information security management system (LIS). Collaborate with the municipality's CISO, operations, authorities, and other municipalities. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Experience driving, coordinating, or developing work within IT security, information security, or cybersecurity. A good understanding of IT infrastructure and modern IT environments, but your primary strength is translating security requirements into practical operational work. Experience with risk management, governance documents, audits, compliance, or supplier management. Knowledge of relevant regulations and frameworks such as NIS2, the Cybersecurity Act, ISO 27001, and MSB's guidelines. Knowledge of CIS Controls and its fundamental principles.
