IT Department Region Uppsala's Management Office is part of Region Uppsala, one of Uppsala County's largest employers. The Management Office is led by the Regional Director and consists of approximately one thousand employees. Our operations IT support is today an important part of Region Uppsala's operations. Within the IT department, you will be a colleague with just over 190 engaged employees whose expertise spans an entire system's lifecycle. Your assignment As an IT Coordinator in the Service Desk, you are the users' first contact with IT support. You work to provide professional, efficient and service-oriented support in a broad and complex IT environment, where you solve problems and contribute to a positive user experience. You will work with, among other things: • Receiving and handling requests via telephone, email and support portal • General IT support, installations, troubleshooting and resolving IT-related problems remotely • Provide pedagogical, professional and service-oriented support to users • Ensure good documentation in the ticket management system • Follow established processes according to ITIL (incident and request) • Provide feedback and follow up requests with users • Contribute to the development of working methods, quality and user support Your qualifications • Relevant IT education or equivalent experience • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, spoken and written Basic knowledge within: • Windows • Troubleshooting of clients and peripherals • Office, email and common user services Meritorious • Experience working in a service desk or technical support • Experience with ITIL-based working methods • Experience with client management (Windows) • Experience with Microsoft 365 • Experience troubleshooting in larger or complex IT environments • Experience creating guides or support materials • Experience as an incident manager or problem manager Your competence We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who is service-oriented, solution-focused and has a good ability to work in a structured manner even at a high pace.
