We are seeking an IT security specialist who wants to help ensure and develop information security in FMV's information systems. About the Position In your role as an IT security specialist at the security protection department, you are responsible for conducting reviews and controls of internal and external information systems with IT security requirements. You work both independently and in groups with other colleagues to support both internal and external system owners in developing secure systems and through review and control work ensure that IT security requirements are met. You also contribute to developing, managing, and monitoring regulations and guidelines within security protection. As part of the agency's IT security function, you monitor and analyze issues of importance for security protection and help translate regulations and requirements into practical security work. You support training activities by developing training materials, conducting training for both internal and external audiences, and participating in incident investigations affecting information systems. You will become part of a competent and engaged team where you work together, while the role requires significant personal responsibility and the ability to independently drive work tasks forward. The position is located in Stockholm. Travel occurs both domestically and internationally. About You We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in an area relevant to the position or have equivalent competence acquired in other ways that we consider equivalent. To succeed in the role, it is necessary that you have several years of current and relevant experience working with complex IT security issues within a government agency or other large organization. You have experience working based on regulations/standards in information security, such as FFS, KSF, NIS 1 and 2, PMFS, or ISO 27001. You have good knowledge of complex IT communications and IT security architectures for secure system solutions and of legislation in applicable areas for the security protection and IT security field. Furthermore, you have experience interpreting and applying regulations within the security protection area and express yourself very well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English. It is advantageous if you have experience with requirement interpretation and approval of information systems in security-sensitive operations. We also view positively experience in planning and conducting training in information or IT security or related areas. A driver's license is an advantage, but not a requirement for the position.
