About the Position
As an Ethical Hacker, you will conduct technical security assessments and penetration testing to strengthen Swedish Grid's resilience against cyber attacks. You will contribute to enhancing security in one of Sweden's most critical national infrastructure operations by identifying vulnerabilities, developing testing methodologies, and improving technical security capabilities.
You will work in diverse IT and OT environments where you conduct security assessments ranging from modern container-based development environments to ICS/SCADA environments. The role involves close collaboration with other IT security specialists and provides you the opportunity to contribute to the development of Swedish Grid's technical security capabilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct technical security assessments and penetration testing of new systems.
Conduct technical security assessments and penetration testing based on Red Team scenarios.
Develop testing methodologies and tools for penetration testing.
Perform vulnerability scanning to identify and validate vulnerabilities.
Work with IT security incidents within Swedish Grid's C-SIRT.
Participate in developing assessment methodologies, processes, tools, and automation.

You will be placed in the Operational IT Security unit, which is part of Swedish Grid's IT Security Department. The unit consists of approximately 15 specialists in security monitoring (SOC), security analysis, technical security assessments, forensic analysis, incident management, and threat intelligence. Here you will work with engaged colleagues in an environment characterized by knowledge sharing, technical development, and a shared focus on meeting today's and tomorrow's cyber threats.

Education:
You have an academic degree in computer science or information security, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Swedish Grid considers equivalent.
You also have:
Current and relevant work experience in penetration testing/Red Teaming.
Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows-based environments.
Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and IT security solutions.
Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
We consider it advantageous if you have:
Certifications in the field, such as OSCP, GIAC, CPTS.
Experience with ICS/SCADA systems.
Experience with container technology.
Experience with security-sensitive IT environments.

The position is located in Stockholm/Sundbyberg.
