What you will work with in cybersecurity
Work within IT and cybersecurity is broad and varied. As a member of the IT Security Unit, you will over time work with several aspects of the agency's cybersecurity efforts.
You will be a shared competency resource within the unit and work closely with operations to analyze needs, identify risks, and recommend technical security solutions and other relevant security measures.
In this role, you will, among other things:
- analyze and map needs from a cybersecurity perspective
- create and conduct training in cybersecurity
- participate in work with permissions and system access
- analyze cybersecurity-related issues and propose solutions
- conduct in-depth analyses of adversarial cyber threats and propose long-term countermeasures
- contribute to developing the agency's cybersecurity efforts
- analyze legal requirements and participate in implementing these into solutions, work methods, and organization

For the role of Cybersecurity Expert, we are looking for someone who has the ability to see the bigger picture and understand the broader perspective. You have good technical knowledge in IT security and stay updated in the field through environmental monitoring and continuous professional development.
You collaborate well with others, communicate clearly, and contribute to constructive solutions even in complex matters. The role also requires that you take responsibility for your tasks and independently drive your work forward.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where good collaboration skills, responsibility, and good judgment in complex technical environments are central.
We are looking for you who have
- academic education in IT infrastructure, IT security, IT project management, systems science, or information technology, or alternatively other education combined with experience that the Swedish Migration Agency deems relevant
- several years of professional experience in cyber or IT security
- knowledge of IT architecture and security solutions
- good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
- Swedish citizenship
It is meritorious if you have
- experience with log monitoring
- relevant certification in the field, such as CISSP or similar
- experience with endpoint protection, IPS/IDS functions, vulnerability scanning, and scripting languages
- knowledge of ISO 27001/27002
Information
The position is security classified and requires security vetting with a satisfactory result according to the Security Protection Act. Swedish citizenship is required for the position.
Employment type: Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period
Working hours: Office hours with possibility of remote work by agreement
Salary: Individual salary setting
Location: Norrköping or Linköping
